An Observation Focus is not a crawl of the whole economy

A user may expect an intelligence product to cover every market automatically. AXIGNAL uses a different unit of work: an Observation Focus directs computation toward an organization and the context that matters to its subscriber.

In brief

The economic map materializes as demand leads to observation. A Focus does not imply a global crawl or complete coverage; it guides observation, retrieval and reassessment under defined sources, rights and budgets.

Let the question guide where to observe

The same organization may raise questions about capabilities, markets, corporate structure or activity over time. A Focus defines attention and authorized conditions; the system need not map every internet entity before answering. This concentrates research where it can change a person’s understanding and avoids presenting partial coverage as a complete cartography.

Combine deterministic sensors with directed research

Stable sources may be observed through governed sensors, while high-value ambiguity or gaps may need adaptive research. An LLM is not the universal observer, and a connected tool does not gain authority merely by being available. Selection depends on source stability, rights, information value and cost; an observation retains its instrument, date and provenance.

Reuse public knowledge without duplicating computation

A governed public finding may benefit other Focuses when rights, privacy and lineage permit. A new Focus reuses the observation and recalculates its meaning in its own relational context. Rediscovery from zero is unnecessary, but the finding is not assumed current, relevant or corroborated for every other question.

Communicate actual coverage

A view should show which sources, places, languages and periods contributed, as well as what remains unknown. No result outside that set does not prove economic absence. If a market segment has not been observed, the system should state the limit and plan further research when it matters.

Conceptual example

Hypothetical: a subscriber observes a medical equipment company to understand certifications and geographic reach. AXIGNAL focuses authorized public research on those dimensions. It does not try to enumerate every medical company or claim that unsearched markets have no suppliers.

Scope and limits

A Focus guarantees no fixed frequency, depth or completeness of observation. Coverage depends on information value, cost, rights and source availability. AXIGNAL does not authorize authenticated scraping, anti-bot circumvention or private-data access to fill coverage gaps. A subscriber can request attention to a specific organization or context without implying that every related entity has been searched. This demand-directed scope helps explain why two Focuses may expose different evidence and why an unobserved market remains outside the conclusion.
